Do you have a student who is an animal lover, advocate and friend? ARLGP after-school clubs are designed to give students a deeper connection to the animal welfare world, sheltering in our community, responsible pet care and more.
After-school clubs are designed for grades 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
Each meeting is an hour and a half, with a maximum amount of 12 students per club.
Cost for 6-month club program is $75 per student.
The Critter Club is a hands-on learning experience for animal lovers in grades 3-5.
Each monthly meeting includes an instructional presentation or activity as well as an opportunity to interact with ARLGP shelter animals.

PET PALS (GRADES 6-8)
The Pet Pals Club is a hands-on learning experience for animal lovers in grades 6-8. Each monthly meeting includes an instructional presentation or activity.
In addition, students will get to closely examine animal welfare issues impacting our community, our state, and beyond. They will also get a behind the scenes look at how the shelter runs and will get to interact with our shelter animals. Enroll your student >

PAWS Club emphasizes hands-on learning and community service. This is the perfect opportunity for students who are thinking of a career working with animals.
This club will discuss animal welfare issues at each meeting but will also plan and carry out a service learning project. Students will also get a chance to experience the many roles the shelter has to offer as well as interact with some of our animal guests! Enroll your student >
